As progress, we can only hope to mature and learn from our experiences.

In a country such as the United States, its all too easy to take for granted the civil liberties, freedoms, and opportunities which are guaranteed by our constitution. Hay tanta injusticia en el mundo, try to imagine and place yourself in the position of the many starving people all around the world who live in regions of constant violence and who struggle for political representation. The run-and-gun tempo of the flow reflect my state of mind at the time I wrote the lyrics. Life is life, but we must carry on and always stand up and fight for what we believe in.
